Harvest in the Square
Celebrating its 21st year, Harvest in the Square is an annual event that showcases the culinary community of Union Square. Also, it raises funds for the Union Square Partnership, allowing them to continue keeping the square beautiful and presenting community programs at no charge. Chefs from local restaurants serve tastings of their signature dishes, all created using fresh produce provided by the Union Square Greenmarket. All dishes are paired with local wines and microbrews as well. Enjoy the great range of wines and beers with no worries about arriving home safely as your limo will be waiting. The event is planned for September 22 in Union Square Park’s North Plaza.
Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest NYC 2016 is scheduled for three weekends, starting September 17 and ending October 3, providing two weeks of the best beer in New York City. While enjoying Oktoberfest, sipping on some of the best beers available in New York and sampling delicious Bavarian food, you can take in the gorgeous fall foliage in the city. There is live music, steins filled with beer and entertainment for the entire family. The event is free, but it is recommended that tickets be reserved. The event is planned for Watermark Pier 15 at 78 South Street.
